The Lambrusco Wine Poached Pears Bundle pairs the two Bella Cucina provisions the recipe calls for: our Lambrusco organic red wine vinegar and Wildflower scented sugar. Everything the poaching pot needs from our pantry, in one set.
Ripe pears simmered slowly in wine, vinegar, and floral sugar until they blush deep red and pierce easily with a fork. Simple to make, elegant enough for entertaining, and just as good cold the next day.
Just add fresh pears, a lemon, and a vanilla bean from the market, plus a bottle of Lambrusco or our non-alcoholic Tost Rosé.
This bundle includes:
- Lambrusco Organic Red Wine Vinegar: made from the same organically grown grapes as the sparkling Italian red. It deepens the poaching liquid with dark berries and a gentle acidity that keeps the sweetness honest.
