The Swedish fish that Swedes actually eat. Kolsvart, a small candy maker in Malmö, colors them with grape skin, carrot and turmeric and flavors them with real fruit, so they are tart and chewy and happen to be vegan. Each fish is named for a Swedish species: raspberry Röding, elderflower Gäddan, black currant and raspberry Torsken.
Pour a bag into a bowl for a party or keep it in the car. They sit well next to the Deux Cranes bars on a sweets table, with a box of Crostata Sweet Butter Pastry Tarts and a jar of Dolci di Latte for the grown-ups. Pick the flavor above. More sweets and chocolate and candy.
