Small, buttery and almost sweet: the Arbequina is the olive of Catalonia, and Dequmana cures them whole in sea salt brine for a month or two, with nothing to mask the fruit. No bitterness, a soft bite, and a pit in the middle to remind you it grew on a tree.
A bowl for aperitivo, a handful chopped into a salad, or a few dropped in a martini. Pairs with the taralli, a Crodino and a spoon of Artichoke Lemon Pesto. More antipasti.
