The little ring crackers of Puglia. Taralli are made from flour, white wine, olive oil and salt, shaped by hand, boiled for a moment and then baked until they crack cleanly between the teeth. Mitica's classico is the plain one, which is the one Italians reach for.
With a glass of wine before dinner, or dunked in it, which is allowed. Serve with Dequmana Arbequina olives, Olivada Olive Pesto or Sweet Pepper Pesto. More crackers and flatbread.
