The board that makes gnocchi look like gnocchi. A small ridged wooden board from Verve Culture's Alla Cucina line, with the bastoncino rod for rolling garganelli: press a pillow of dough down the ridges with your thumb, or wrap a square around the rod and roll, and the grooves hold the sauce.

Nine inches by three and a half. Pairs with Mastering Pasta and a jar of Fresh Basil Pesto or Sugo alla Peperonata to finish. More for the table.
