Confetti, the Italian way: a whole almond inside a thin, hard shell of white sugar, pastel-tinted for the occasion. Crispo has made them in Italy for generations, and Trinacria is their classic, the one that gets tied into tulle for weddings, baptisms and the big birthdays.
