A hazelnut spread from Varazze, on the Ligurian coast, where Lavoratti has made chocolate since 1938. Revived by the television host Fabio Fazio, the house keeps the recipe simple: more hazelnut than sugar, dark and dense, with the roasted depth the famous jar never had.
On warm bread, in a crepe, between two biscotti, or off the spoon. Try it beside our own Dolci Nocciola, or spread it on our Dried Cherry and Almond Biscotti. More sweets and chocolate.
