Collection: Japanese Ink Art by Alisa Barry

My work is a study, practice, and exploration of the relationship between the sacred and mundane. I am interested in rethinking repitition and how discipline as devotion can transform everyday ordinary activities into meaningful ritual. I investigate these themes through a movement meditation practice called ensO, using Japanese ink on paper. The practice is a meditation in motion, a prayer on the page.

This collection shifts with the practice. New pieces arrive, others find their homes. Visit us at 288 Buckhead Avenue to see the current work in person, or contact shop@bellacucina.com for the full portfolio and commission inquiries.
