Olive trees are one of our favorites! We keep them at our Store x Studio year-round, from the entrance through the shop, not just for their beauty but for their simplicity and resilience.

Why do we love olive trees?

This ancient tree has been immortalized in art for centuries. It bears small, green olives that ripen to a rich black in early to mid-fall. While slow-growing, their gift is timeless. Fresh olives can be pressed into golden extra virgin olive oil, a tradition that has endured for centuries.

Are olive trees hard to grow?

Compared to other fruit trees, they’re low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, requiring less water and minimal fertilization. Their silvery-green leaves and rustic charm make them a perfect Mediterranean home accent.
