Olive oil from the high desert. Alison and Jay Carroll started Wonder Valley in Joshua Tree in 2014 with olives hand-picked in Northern California, and the oil is bright, herbaceous and peppery, the kind that makes a plain tomato taste like the best one you have had.
Pour it over everything that is already cooked. Pairs with Calendula & Chive Savory Salt, more savory salts and a box of dipping crackers. More oils and vinegars.
