Natural Gordal Olives

The gordal olive, sometimes called Sevillano or queen olive, is typical of the Seville region of Andalusia in southern Spain and produces a plump, large caliber oval fruit hence the name which translates to “the fat one”. Enjoy these plump olives as a tapa, on a fresh green salad or as a tasty addition to your next cocktail! Losada is a small family company in Carmona, outside of Sevilla, that makes their olives in small batches. They carefully select blemish-free Gordal olives and pack them in a mild brine so the salt does not overwhelm the pure olive flavor.
