Tea made from the husks of cacao beans. Kajkab, a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Mexico, saves the shells from its single-origin Ecuadorian cacao and bags them loose, and steeped in hot water they give a cup that smells like a chocolate bar and drinks like a dark, earthy tea. Caffeine-free, no sugar.
Two teaspoons, boiling water, six to eight minutes. A splash of milk if you like. Pairs with the Dolci Nocciola on toast. More tea and coffee and wellness.
