A small spoon of polished natural horn. Horn does not react with food, so it will not taint caviar, eggs, salt or honey the way metal can, and it is light and smooth in the hand. Grain and tone vary from spoon to spoon.
Keep it in the salt cellar, use it for jam, mustard or condiments at the table, or for a small bowl of gelato. Hand wash in cool water, dry at once and keep it out of the dishwasher. See photos for size. More in For the Table.
