The big tin of the best tuna there is. Arroyabe has canned fish on the Basque coast since 1898, and Bonito del Norte is white albacore from the Bay of Biscay, caught one at a time on pole and line, cooked, and packed by hand in olive oil. Pale, soft, mild, nothing like the can from the supermarket.
Thirty-two ounces for a party: a Niçoise, a tonnato sauce, a pan bagnat for ten. Save the oil for the dressing. Serve with olives, flatbread and Bella's Olive Oil Dipping Crackers. More antipasti.
