SUNDAY SLOWDOWN | A winter respite

SUNDAY SLOWDOWN | A winter respite

“Everything that's created comes out of silence. Your thoughts emerge from the nothingness of silence. Your words come out of this void. Your very essence emerged from emptiness. All creativity requires some stillness.”

  - Wayne Dyer

The morning is quiet and calm, not even the birds are awake yet, or perhaps they are cozied up somewhere warm away from winter's chill

There's no car tires swishing by on the hard pavement road, only the sound of fire flames crackling and the sway of icy pecan tree branches outside my studio window.

These are days to hold your ear close to the earth,  to rest in the stillness and embrace the emptiness.

Wherever you are, in whatever weather comes your way today, stay safe and warm.
