Baked Haloumi Cheese with Herbed Olives

This easy appetizer or side dish goes from oven to table in less than 30 minutes.  Bake in the oven, or cook on the grill. Anyway you make it, it will be a mouth-watering favorite.



8 ounces Haloumi cheese (feta works well too) 

1 teaspoon Bella Cucina Wild Oregano & Sage Salt 

2 Tablespoons Bella Cucina Extra Virgin Olive Oil 

1 cup mixed or green olives 

1 teaspoon Bella Cucina Peperoncini & Pimenton Salt 

PREPARATION: Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F.

In a baking dish or oven proof saute pan, place the cheese in the middle of the pan. Top with the Wild Oregano & Sage salt. Surround the cheese with the olives, and season the olives Peperoncini & Pimenton Salt. Drizzle with the olive oil over the cheese and olives. Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is slightly golden and bubbly.

Serve with Bella's Dipping Cracker.
