
Lime and Honey Grilled Shrimp
The prefect easy weeknight meal or weekend entertaining appetizer cooked over hardwood using Bella's hand-forged Italian Italian Grill.
SHOPPING LIST:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled, but tails left on, and deveined as needed
3 tablespoons Bella Cucina Thousand Flower Honey
4 Tablespoons Bella Cucina Key Lime Spread
1 Tablespoon Bella Cucina Mint & Pistachio Pesto
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Bella Cucina Peperoncini & Pimenton Salt
1/2 cup home-made or jarred Mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced.
Mint for garnish
PREPARATION:
To Make the Marinade: Whisk together the honey, 2 Tablespoons lime spread, pesto, olive oil and salt. in a bowl. Place the shrimp and marinade into a bowl or plastic bag and toss with half of the marinade (use the other half for basting during grilling.) Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes, until ready to grill.
Grill the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side, basting with reserved marinade, until shrimp are pink and nicely darkened. Remove from grill and serve with lime wedges and key lime aioli.
To make the key lime aioli: Whisk together the remaining 2 Tablespoons Key Lime Spread with the mayonnaise and minced garlic.
