Who doesn't love a good banana bread recipe? How do you make it even better - you top it with a generous few spoonfuls of our Dolci Nocciola chocolate hazelnut sauce.
SHOPPING LIST:
5 bananas, very ripe, skins blackened even better
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour (use almond flour for gluten free)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon. baking soda
3 Tablespoons Bella Cucina Dolci Nocciola Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
PREPARATION: Preheat oven oven to 375 degrees F
In a stand mixer or mixing bowl, add the bananas, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix together until the mixture is somewhat smooth. Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda, hen slowly add it in to the banana mixture just until blended.
Pour into a parchment lined, buttered or non stick loaf pan. Top with a few dollops of the chocolate sauce.
Bake in the middle rack until a skewer comes clean, about 45-55 minutes.
Cool slightly, then slather eat warm as is, slather with butter or a spoonful more of chocolate hazelnut sauce.
