Make a butter board the Bella way with our favorite locally made butter, fresh produce from the farmer's market, and Bella Cucina's prettiest savory salt. Our butter board is special because it uses the crisp bite of radishes to balance the rich and creamy butter. Serve alongside one of our artisanal pestos for an extra layer of flavor.
- 5oz Banner Butter softened (or an unsalted butter)
- 1 bunch breakfast radishes, stems reserved
- 2 Tbsp Bella Cucina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Teaspoons Bella Cucina Tuscan Rose & Pink Peppercorn Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Bella Cucina Mint & Pistachio Pesto
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Remove stems & leaves from radishes, slice, and set aside. Chop radishes and toss with 1Tbsp of Bella Cucina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 1 teaspoons salt. Bake for 15 minutes until softened.
Heat remaining olive oil in a saute pan. Saute radish greens until wilted. Set aside to cool.
Spread softened butter on board using a Bella Cucina Olivewood Appetizer Spoon. Top with cooled radishes and greens. Sprinkle lightly with Bella Cucina Tuscan Rose & Pink Peppercorn Salt to taste, and place remaining salt in small dish for dipping fresh radishes. Serve with Bella Cucina Pane Rustico Flatbread, and Bella Cucina Mint & Pistachio Pesto.
