A Season to Flourish - Bella Cucina

A Season to Flourish

"The air of May is sweet; the summer is near, and my heart feels light."

— Emily Dickinson

To flourish, by definition, is to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way. Especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.

Fourishing is not an act of will. It is a response to conditions. The poppy does not try. It grows because the light has returned, because the soil has nurtured its seeds, because nature's season always returns.

This is the season we have been waiting for. Farmer's markets full of flavor and the return of vibrant colors.  The strawberries still warm from the field. The first long dinner held alfresco, outside,  because the warmth of the evening allowed it.

At our Store x Studio in Buckhead, life is finding its way into every corner. Fresh flowers on the table. Thoughtful objects chosen with care. Bright flavors lined up in the pantry, ready to become a meal.

This month's Objects of Affection are gathered in that same spirit. Beautiful, useful pieces that bring vibrancy, abundance, and ease into the everyday. A small collection for the kind of environment where good days, and the people in them, have room to flourish.

May is an invitation. We hope you let it in.
