Sometimes, I thread the skewers with bay leaf and preserved lemon strips or squares of rosemary focaccia tossed with olive olive oil.  you can also use italian sausage, chicken, lamb!&lt;br /&gt;marinate for an hour ahead if you can. not too long on the shrimp, otherwise it will begin to cook {think ceviche!} but meats and chicken can marinate overnight. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;enjoy!&lt;br /&gt;thanks for your post.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;buon appetito,&lt;br /&gt;bella</description>
